Daniel’s commitment to God placed him in the lion’s den, but his faith protected him. God sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths, and Daniel emerged unscathed.

Another example is the Apostle Paul, whose boldness in preaching the gospel led him to imprisonment, beatings, and shipwrecks. Yet, Paul remained steadfast, declaring in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.” Like Paul, a great man of God today must remain courageous in standing for the truth, even when the world is hostile.
