A Humble Beginning – Small Steps Lead to Great Success

Though your beginning was small, your end will be perfect. Job 8:7

George Radu is a salesman for a famous car company. The names of those who sell the most cars in that car company appear on a notice board. He wanted his name to appear on the notice board for many years, but he couldn’t get it. Consider what he did next. He wrote a thank-you letter to everyone who bought a car from that company. That year, not only did his name appear on the notice board, but he also set a Guinness World Record for car sales. What a surprise!

The beginning of any thing is trivial. No one starts anything even if they have everything or have it. When no one knows how a thing will happen and how it will end, how can one start anything perfectly? To start any thing, plans are needed, preparations are needed, and some investment is needed. Only then will the result be great.

“Who can despise the day of small beginnings?” Zechariah 4:10 In the Holy Bible, we see how some people became perfect. When we read about Isaac, “He increased greatly and became very great.” Genesis 26:13 Similarly, we read about Joseph in the Bible. “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.” So he called the younger son Ephraim.” Genesis 41:52. And when we read about David in the Bible, it is written in this way. “There was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David; but David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.” 2 Samuel 3:1. Beloved, we are like them on our journey toward a perfect end.

No one can say how perfect our end will be. Our God, through the prophet Joel, says that He will give us back everything we have lost in full. Joel 2:23-26. God Himself is the one who gives us in full. If we thank Him or are grateful, He will satisfy us with all perfection. Let us praise Him with gratitude.
