God’s Words are tested and proved in the furnace of experience

VERSE:
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. (PROVERBS 30:5 KJV)

EXPLANATION:
May the Lord bless you according to Proverbs 30:5, “Every Word of God is flawless [pure]; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” Such a beautiful promise, isn’t it?

What is the true nature of God’s Word? According to Psalm 12:6, ‘the Words and the Promises of the Lord are PURE words. They are like silver refined in an earthly furnace, purified seven times.’ Yes, God’s Words are tested and proved in the furnace of experience.

God’s Word comes alive and they COMFORT us especially when we go through trying times. Thus, God’s Word gives you life even in the midst of a lifeless or hopeless situation.

Hebrews 4:12 wonderfully describes the nature of God’s Word as: “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Accordingly, the Word of God is ALIVE, powerful and able to penetrate through the depth of the human soul.

Also, through God’s Word, we come to KNOW who God is. We are thus able to enter into God’s presence and have a wonderful relationship with Him. Beloved, how blessed are we to have God’s Word inside us? Some view God’s Word as just a set of rules. Some find them to be restricting and hard to follow. The saddest part is today people are trying to prove that the Bible is not true.

People choose to live in their own ways. They say they want freedom and they reject God Himself. But God says otherwise. He says, “His Word is a shield to those who trust in Him.” His Word keeps you from getting stuck in a situation and will empower you to live a very successful life in this world.

The Bible says in II Corinthians 1:20, “For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So, through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God.” My beloved, in Christ, all the promises of God are ANSWERED.

So, you who trust in God’s Word are blessed! May this gracious Lord shield you through His Word. May you be blessed on all sides through His Word.

PRAYER:
Loving Lord ! I thank You for Your beautiful promise. Lord, I thank You that Your Words and Promises are fulfilled and answered in Christ Jesus. You are not a human being to lie or change Your mind. When You promise, You act on it and make sure it gets fulfilled. Lord, I, therefore, believe in Your Word and in Your promises. Lord, I pray that You will grant me the grace to live by Your word always. Let Your Word give me life and help me to walk victoriously in You. Thank You for encouraging me and comforting me through Your precious and flawless Word. In Jesus’ name, I pray Amen.
