ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (07.01.2023):
VERSE:
…my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; (ISAIAH 32:18 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
Today, the Lord has kept before you three blessings, as He says in Isaiah 32:18, “My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”
Yes, these are the blessings, the Lord grants you today. When the Lord is pleased with someone, He helps them to enjoy everything He gives them as mentioned in Ecclesiastes 3:13, “everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man [and woman also].” The Lord also gives rest to His beloved ones (Psalm 127:2).
God loved King Solomon so much. That’s why he was called a ‘man of rest’ (I Chronicles 22:9). Solomon himself says in I kings 5:4, “the Lord my God has given me rest on every side. There is neither adversary nor misfortune.” In New Living Translation it says, “I have no enemies and all is well.”
Likewise, the Lord will enable you to enjoy your home. Nobody will be able to disturb your peace. Your home will be well-secured and you will have a peaceful dwelling.
How does this blessing come upon our lives? Only when we remain in the presence of God all the time. Solomon says in Proverbs 8:30, “I was constantly at His side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in His presence.”
Accordingly, only the Lord’s presence can give rest to your weary soul. That’s what David says in Psalm 62:5, ‘Have rest in God alone! My expectation comes from Him.”
God wants you to have peace on all sides of your life. When you soak in His presence, He will put an end to every conflict and you will find rest.
My dear beloved, may the lord give you rest on all sides. May you have a peaceful dwelling place. May you have a secured home and undisturbed places of rest.
PRAYER:
Loving Lord, I thank You for Your wonderful promise that is filled with Your blessings. Lord, as You have promised, let me have Your peace and security in my life. Let no evil come near my dwelling. Lord, let me experience rest on all sides. Bless my labour and make me fruitful. Protect my home like a wall of fire and restore peace and joy in my family. Let your hand of blessing come upon me and let me enjoy your presence all the time. In Jesus’ name, I pray Amen.
