ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (16.01.2023):

VERSE:
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: (DEUTERONOMY 28:1)

EXPLANATION:
Today’s promise is taken from Deuteronomy 28:1, “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.”

According to this verse, the Lord will set you on high. All you need to do is one thing. Obedience! When you obey the Lord’s commands, He will certainly bless you and set you on high.

The Lord will bless you and set you on high. You just have to blindly trust Him and obey all His commands. His blessings will flow like a river into your generations as well.

We see a man in the Bible named Abraham who faithfully obeyed the Lord and did just as He commanded him. He never doubted God’s intentions by thinking will I get hurt or will my family be destroyed by doing this? should I consult somebody? Or should I take three days to think about it? No, my dear beloved. Abraham blindly trusted God and he did exactly as the Lord commanded him to do.

Therefore, we see the Lord blessing Abraham and testifying about him in Genesis 26:4&5, “I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because ABRAHAM OBEYED ME and did everything I required of him, keeping My commands, My decrees and My instructions.”

What a great blessing Abraham received from the hand of the Lord just because he obeyed Him completely.

So, in the same way, when you obey the Lord without questioning Him and doing just as He says, He will bless you beyond measure. Not only you but also your descendants from generation to generation – God will thus bless you and your family!

So, let us make a decision to blindly trust and obey God so that you and I will have this promise fulfilled in our lives. May God bless you!

PRAYER:
Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. Lord, You love obedience more than sacrifice. I pray that You will grant me a heart that will trust You blindly and obey all Your commands. You have plans only to prosper me and never to harm me. Lord, break every curse that is upon my life caused due to my disobedience and rebellion to Your Word. I choose to trust You, Lord. Help me to obey Your instructions and do everything that You require of me. Be the Lord of my family and let Your blessings flow like a river into my life and into the generations to come. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
