VERSE:
…a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel,… (NUMBERS 24:17 KJV)
EXPLANATION:

The verse we are going to meditate on today is Numbers 24:17 “…a star shall rise from Jacob, a scepter shall arise from Israel;…”
“God so loved the world, that whoever believes in his only begotten Son should not perish and have eternal life.” (John 3:16) We all know the scriptures, and we celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ as Christmas.
In today’s world people live in tears amidst many situations. God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ into this world as a man to bring light to the people living in darkness. Also, He came to this earth to fulfill the scriptures from Isaiah 61:1-3.
A servant of God was inspired by the Spirit to go to a distant village. It was a dark village. He built a hut there and prayed alone. People living in terrible sin were watching this. He was fasting in the community praying and waiting for God’s guidance.
When someone in that village had a problem, he prayed for him and helped him in whatever way he could. The number of people seeking his help slowly increased. He was fervently praying in the name of Jesus for the people who were seeking him.
Those people began to taste the miracle of God in their lives. Seeing this, others came to him to pray. He shared the love of Jesus Christ among them. The darkness and the shadow of death in that village slowly disappeared. Family by family saw the light of God. The entire village was filled with divine light and began to glow and shine.
Devote your life to God like the above Godman. Pray to God for your family, friends and relatives who are living in the midst of darkness. Then the light of God will shine in their lives as a light in the darkness.
Yes, you and I are living in the last days. God’s secret visit is very near. Just as you have been saved and tasted the great things of God in your life, share the love of God so that others may also taste it. By that they will be freed from the clutches of the devil and live happily. Jesus has given himself to us as a sacrifice on the cross.
PRAYER:
My precious father! Praise be to You for giving me Your only begotten Son. Thank you for graciously forgiving all my sins. Deliver me from the darkness of darkness and the darkness of death. Together with the children of God, they will help to pray for the people living in darkness. Mercifully show others your divine love as you have shown me. I pray in Jesus name Good Father, Amen.
