Come, for All Things Are Now Ready: A Biblical Invitation to Abundance

Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ (Luke 14:16-17 NIV )

This verse gives us a great picture of the abundance of eternal life that God offers freely to humankind.
He gives the fountain of living water to wash away the world’s sins.
As we come to His banquet table in Christ, His mercy, grace and forgiveness are freely available to all.
To sit at His banquet table and enjoy an intimate fellowship with the living God is divine soul food, like an injection of enriching nourishment for our spiritual life.
The banquet is a promise of eternity with Him in heaven. He gives us the indwelling Holy Spirit who gives us peace to replace our anxiety, joy to replace our depression, power to overcome our sins, and overflowing favours for life and wisdom to make the right decisions.

Everything is now ready, all is being prepared, and man needs to accept this invitationThe apostle Peter describes it in 2 Peter 13 as such: “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness (2 Peter 1:3 NIV).” Long before human beings thought about God, He thought of us and made ample provision for our salvation.

His abundant provision means that we are welcome to come to His table and eat until we are satisfied.
The wedding hall is open, and nothing is lacking at this banquet; it is a perfect banquet.
He has reserved a place at the banquet paid for by the blood of His Son, Jesus, for those who believe.

After you have experienced His goodness, would you invite others who are yet to be saved and say, “Come, for things are now ready.

Father in heaven,I come before You with a grateful heart, for You have prepared a big banquet and I am one of Your guests
I pray for many who are yet to be invited, that they will have the chance to celebrate their eternity with You.
Let me be a faithful servant who goes and invites, In Jesus name Amen
