You must have a heart to feel regret that you weren’t able to satisfy God in the past. Nothing can be lacking, so God can perfect you. If you lack these things, you cannot be perfected! If you want to be used and perfected by God, you must be possessed of everything: the will to suffer, faith and endurance, obedience, and experience of God’s work, gaining a grasp of His will, considerate of God’s sorrow.
