Once upon a time, in the peaceful village of Bethelton, there lived a little boy named Eli. Eli was the youngest shepherd in his family, and though he was small, his heart was big and full of love.

Every day, Eli would lead the sheep to the green pastures, watching over them with care. He loved to sit under the vast, blue sky and look at the fluffy clouds, imagining the stories they told.

One bright morning, as the sun painted the sky with hues of pink and gold, Eli noticed a tiny lamb struggling to keep up with the rest of the flock. Concerned, he gently scooped up the little one and cradled it in his arms.

Eli: (softly) “There, there, little friend. You’re safe with me.”

Eli decided to name the lamb Joy because its presence brought joy to his heart. As the days passed, Eli and Joy became inseparable. He would share his lunch with Joy, and together they explored the hills and meadows.

One evening, as the village gathered for a community feast, Eli overheard the elders talking about a star that had appeared in the night sky. They believed it was a sign of something special happening in Bethlehem.

Filled with excitement, Eli couldn’t wait to share the news with his family. As they prepared to make the journey to Bethlehem, Eli knew he couldn’t leave Joy behind.

Eli: “You’re a part of our family, Joy. You’re coming with us.”

The journey to Bethlehem was long, but Eli and Joy felt a sense of purpose and love guiding them. When they reached Bethlehem, they found a humble stable where a baby lay in a manger surrounded by his parents.

Eli: (whispering to Joy) “This must be the special event. Look at that beautiful baby.”

As the night sky shimmered with the light of the star, Eli understood the true meaning of love. He realized that love wasn’t just about caring for those close to us; it was about sharing that love with others.

Eli: “Joy, my little friend, this baby brings a message of love. Let’s carry that love in our hearts and share it with everyone we meet.”

And so, with Joy by his side, Eli returned to Bethelton, carrying the message of love that he had discovered in Bethlehem. The littlest shepherd had a big heart, and his journey became a story of love, compassion, and the joy that comes from sharing that love with others.

From that day forward, Eli continued to tend to his flock, but now, he did it with an understanding that love is the most precious gift of all—a gift meant to be shared with the world.
